Our Foundation is an independent non-profit organization. It was founded on the belief that any motivated individual in need should have the opportunity to further his or her education. We hope to help by removing some of the financial burdens associated with furthering education. Further, we believe that education is the best means to empower people to become more independent and to participate more fully in the community. The Mesabi East Foundation believes that through education, all things are possible - careers are born, citizens become responsible, and people become productive members of society.
We share a vision of enhancing the education of Mesabi East Students. Funds raised will directly impact students’ post secondary education and honor the goals of Mesabi East School. The Mission of the Mesabi East Schools is "To enable all students to achieve high levels of success so that they become self-directed, life-long learners and informed productive citizens in a changing world." Lifelong learning enhances social inclusion, active citizenship, and personal development, but also self-sustainability, as well as competitiveness and employability.
